a note on body hair and feminine infantilization

Generally speaking, my subs love my armpit hair, but sometimes a sub will bring it up and express confusion—why do I grow my hair out? Why would I share photos of something so unfeminine? They think I'm beautiful but see some things about me like my armpit hair as in opposition to that. This shows me that they worship an image of femininity that is adolescent and lacking in complexity, honesty. But we are all capable of investigating and of reshaping our desires.
Those of us assigned female at birth are involuntarily indoctrinated into a cult of femininity, disciplined by our peers and role models and advertisements and the men we are trained to make ourselves consumable for. The obsession with feminine performances of youthfulness like shaving and shrinking ourselves into smaller bodies—it is akin to pedophilia. And why are men attracted to this infantilization of women? Because children are easy to control, entirely dependent on their caregivers, and it is seen as acceptable to disrespect their autonomy and abuse them. Small, scared, power-hungry men demand this of grown women, too. They/you have been taught to desire this. Appease men with control over women so we will not work together to take real political power over our lives.
**Worshipping purity, thinness, lack of body hair, and other indicators of the infantilization of women is submissive behavior, sure; but it is not submissive to me, to any Mistress, or to women at large—it is submissive to the warmongering pedophiles in power who have been shaping your desires since childhood. It's time to reshape and expand your desires.**
I let much of the hair on my body grow simply because it wants to grow. I shave or trim where and when it feels fun or practical and not coercive to do so. I spent my youth contorting myself to be consumable, and I enjoy finding ways to reject that impulse as an adult. There are many aspects of femininity that are authentic to me. There are many that aren't, and I either reject those or play with them as a costume. Gender can be a prison or a playground.
Keep investigating your desires: where did they come from? Who profits from them?
